The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run as of 2am on January 5, 2023. The sites were monitored during the overnight hours which are all very wet after the heavy rain fall we received during the day on January 4, 2023 and with the temperatures hovering around the 0 – 1° mark a salt service run will be performed to help combat any freezing areas from forming. We are also forecasted to see some flurries during the afternoon of January 5 which this salt service run will help combat any snow that may fall. All routes were completed within these regions by 6am on January 5th, 2023. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

Our teams within Kitchener and Waterloo will be started a full salt service run as of 2am on January 5, 2023. The sites were monitored during the overnight hours which are all very wet after the heavy rain fall we received during the day on January 4, 2023 and with the temperatures hovering around the 0 – 1° mark a salt service run will be performed to help combat any freezing areas from forming. We are also forecasted to see some flurries during the afternoon of January 5 which this salt service run will help combat any snow that may fall. As of 1am a salt run will not be completed in this region as the temperatures are around 5° and remain in the plus degrees throughout the day. Our teams will continue to monitor sites within this region as there is a potential for less than a centimeter during the overnight hours of January 5th and into the early morning hours of January 6.
