The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run as of 3am on January 19, 2023 of all sites within these regions. Our teams have been monitoring the next weather episode that is forecasted to begin around 3am on January 19, 2023 across the GTA. A weather advisory had been posted from Environment Canada for a Freezing Rain Warning so our teams were sent to help combat any slippery areas that may arise with this potential risk. We started seeing precipitation around 8am on January 19, 2023 which was later than forecasted. Throughout the afternoon temperatures are hovering around the 1° and 2° mark with rain. Our teams remain on standby should servicing be required again this afternoon as we are seeing more rain throughout the afternoon. All teams completed their runs as of 8am on January 19, 2023. During the overnight of January 19 into January 20 this will transition from rain to snow with a chance of close to a centimeter of snowfall. The Paramount Service teams throughout Fort Erie started teams have been monitoring the next weather episode that is forecasted to begin around 3am on January 19, 2023 across the GTA. A weather advisory has been posted from Environment Canada for a Freezing Rain Warning for most regions. We are expecting to see freezing rain begin around 8am and go for 6 to 8 hours with a chance of flurries throughout this system as well amounting to less than a centimeter of snowfall. Temperatures throughout this weather system are hovering around the 0° to 2° mark within Fort Erie and are to slowly rise and change over to rain. Our teams have a tentative plan of starting a salt service run as of 3am on January 19, 2023 to salt all properties throughout these regions to help combat the freezing rain that is anticipated. We will continue to monitor the weather and will update once we have a full plan of service levels throughout. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
