Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a salt service run as of 8am in all regions on February 7th, 2021. These regions received around 1cm of scattered flurries that began around 5am on Sunday morning and continued through until 8am. With the temperatures being well below freezing over night around -8 to -9 there is a potential for freeze so this salt run is being performed to help prevent any slippery areas from arising. The temperatures throughout are remaining very cold throughout the day and overnight hours of February 7th, 2021. The teams completed this service run as of 12pm on February 7th, 2021. Residential properties were not serviced during this episode as we did not reach the 5cm threshold.

Paramount Service teams within Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge will be starting a salt service run as of 11pm on February 6, 2021. These teams will be seeing around 1cm of scattered flurries as well during the overnight and early morning hours. The teams will be starting earlier as within these regions the temperatures will be going down below -10 and have seen some scattered flurries throughout the day on February 6, 2021. With more flurries coming this salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. Teams completed their runs as of 4am on February 7.
