Salt Run Completion December 1, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown started a full salt service run throughout Waterdown and Milton as of 3am on December 1. Within these regions we received a trace of snow to around 1cm of snowfall. Within Milton, most sites iced up fairly quickly due to the drastic changes within temperatures throughout the day and evening of November 30. This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as there is a potential for some more scattered flurries throughout the morning of December 1. All teams completed their routes as of 7am on December 1. Teams will continue to monitor the sites as well remain on standby should the weather change. Burlington and Oakville remained clear throughout this weather episode. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford were monitoring sites throughout the early morning of December 1, 2022. Our teams in Brantford performed a full salt service run of this city after receiving close to 1cm of snowfall. Within Hamilton and Stoney Creek the way the system came through it was very sporadic as to where services were required. Downtown Hamilton did not require servicing whereas the Mountain required salting on some sites. All trucks were sent out to check sites as of 3am on December 1, 2022, some sites received a salt service run where as others did not require. All clients that received a service run will receive a Live-Update Log via email. This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas for arising as well we are forecasted for a possibility of scattered flurries throughout the morning. The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge started a salt service run as of 3am on December 1, 2022. Within these areas we received close to a centimeter to a 1.5cm of snow and some areas a little more due to drifting snow. Throughout the later evening of November 30 and into the early morning hours of December 1 these areas were seeing some snow squalls. Our teams completed this salt run as of 8″30am on December 1, 2022. This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the snow that fell and temperatures dropping well below 0°. Light Snow

The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough and Markham have continued to monitor the weather system that was passing throughout these regions that began during the evening of November 30. Most areas of Toronto, Scarborough and Markham received a light dusting of snow. All trucks were sent out to check sites as of 3am on December 1, 2022, with this type of weather system that past through it was hit and miss on each site. Some sites received a salt service run where as others did not require. All clients that received a service run will receive a Live-Update Log via email. We have an estimated completion of this salt service and site check run by 8am. This salt run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the snow that fell and temperatures dropping well below 0°. The Paramount Service teams throughout Oshawa and Ajax were sent out to perform site checks on sites within these regions and as of 2am on December 1st it was deemed necessary to have a salt service run performed on our clients properties. With the rain fall and snow that took place on November 30 some areas were patchy and potential for freezing due to the temperatures being below 0° during the overnight and early morning. This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas from forming due to the temperatures as well the precipitation.
