Snow
On Time
Snow began during the morning hours around 7:00 AM on December 7, with most areas experiencing scattered flurries since that time. The snowfall is forecasted to taper off around 10:00 AM.
The Paramount Snow Management Teams have been monitoring and checking sites throughout the morning, with most regions seeing anywhere from a trace to 1 cm of snowfall. Teams remain on standby as we assess conditions. A salt service run will be deployed to combat the snow that has fallen and to help combat any slippery areas that may arise, especially with an additional small system moving through the GTA today.
Temperatures during this system range from –1°C to –4°C, depending on the region. However, temperatures are expected to drop significantly during the evening and overnight hours, falling to approximately –12°C to –14°C, increasing the potential for icy conditions.
Please check back for future service level updates as our team continues to monitor both the weather system and site conditions.
