Heavy Snow
On Time
Paramount teams would like to wish our clients a very Merry Christmas.
Our Snowline Management teams have been monitoring a weather system that has been in the forecast for the past several days. Snow began in areas north of the 401 corridor at approximately 9:00 AM on December 26, 2025. While forecasts were initially calling for 10 cm or more of snowfall, this system has since shifted and is now producing mainly freezing rain across the region.
Due to the freezing rain being experienced across all regions of the GTA, our teams were dispatched as quickly as possible. Teams north of the 401 corridor will be beginning their routes earlier to perform a full plow and salt service run across all properties. Due to the ongoing salt shortage across Ontario, pre-salting is not possible at this time.
All remaining teams will begin their routes as of 3:00 PM on December 26. Teams have been instructed to plow where required and apply salt at all properties. The salt service run is being performed to help combat the freezing rain conditions currently being experienced across the GTA. This weather event is forecasted to continue until approximately 7:00 PM on December 26 in most regions, with temperatures remaining below freezing.
The estimated completion time for all routes is approximately 11:00 PM on December 26. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the evening and provide updates as service levels progress.
Please continue to check back for updates at www.paramountlandscaping.ca/snowline.
