Paramount Snow teams began a full salt service run across the affected regions as of 5:00 PM on December 28, 2025. Teams were deployed in response to reports of slippery conditions, with the salt application performed to help combat the freezing rain that fell throughout the afternoon.  All teams completed their service routes by approximately 10:30 PM on December 28.

Teams remain on standby for further servicing as we continue to monitor another weather system forecasted for December 29. Current forecasts indicate flurries during the morning hours, with temperatures dropping below freezing. There is the potential for approximately 1 to 3 cm of snowfall beginning around 8:00 AM on December 29.  Our teams will be out again this morning to closely monitor all sites, as snowfall is expected to begin during the morning hours and temperatures are forecasted to dip below freezing starting around 8:00 AM.

At this time, we are awaiting confirmation on additional salt deliveries. Depot operators are expecting incoming trucks and will notify us once deliveries arrive. Upon confirmation, teams will deploy as required. In the meantime, we will continue actively monitoring all properties and responding as conditions and material availability allow.
