Paramount Snow Management teams have been monitoring a weather system that was forecasted for January 5, 2026, with snowfall beginning around 5:00 AM. Current forecasts indicate snowfall accumulations of approximately 3 to 5 cm, with snow expected to end around 9:00 AM. Service is scheduled to begin once snowfall has fully stopped to allow for effective and efficient site clearing.
ROUTE DEPLOYMENT UPDATE:
Teams will begin plow service routes at approximately 9:00 AM across all regions once snowfall has ceased. Each route is expected to take approximately eight hours, with an anticipated completion time of 5:00 PM.
SERVICE NOTES – SALT SUPPLY UPDATE:
Due to the ongoing salt supply shortage across Southern Ontario, salt availability remains limited. At this time, teams are assessing whether a salt service run can be completed today. Suppliers may delay salt distribution until January 6 due to a potential ice storm. Updates will be provided should service levels change based on material availability.
