On Time

Paramount Snow Management teams are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted to impact the GTA beginning around 3:00 PM on January 10, 2026, continuing into the evening hours and expected to taper off around 10:00 PM. Most regions across the GTA are forecasted to receive rain throughout the afternoon, with temperatures remaining above freezing. There is a chance of less than 1 cm of snow accumulation in some areas due to mixed precipitation.

Temperatures are not forecasted to drop below freezing until approximately 3:00 AM on January 11, 2026, reducing the immediate risk of icy conditions.

SERVICE STRATEGY & STATUS:
At this time, no service has been scheduled. All Snow Management teams remain on standby should servicing be required. Teams will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will provide updates should service levels be necessary.

SERVICE NOTES – SALT SUPPLY UPDATE:
Southern Ontario continues to experience a province-wide salt shortage due to increased winter demand and supply chain disruptions, with municipalities being prioritized. As a result, salt availability for private contractors remains limited. Paramount Snow Management continues to secure material as it becomes available and deploys services strategically to prioritize safety. In some cases, service timing and methods may be adjusted to ensure the most effective and responsible use of available materials.
