Partly Cloudy
On Time
Paramount Snow Management teams will be monitoring a potential weather system across the GTA during the evening and overnight hours, beginning around 10:00 PM on February 2 and continuing until approximately 12:00 AM on February 3, 2026. Forecasts indicate the potential for scattered flurries, with accumulations of less than 1 cm across most regions. Temperatures during this period are expected to range between –7°C and –9°C, depending on location.
At temperatures below –7°C, standard white salt begins to lose effectiveness, which may limit how quickly treated surfaces respond if conditions worsen.
Due to the ongoing province-wide salt shortage across Southern Ontario, salt availability for private contractors remains limited. Paramount Landscaping Inc. continues to monitor conditions closely and deploys services strategically to prioritize safety when material availability allows.
At this time, all teams remain on standby and will be deployed if servicing is required, based on site conditions and weather progression.

Storm Cleanup & Tidy-Up Operations
Paramount Snow Management teams completed a full storm cleanup and tidy-up operation across all properties throughout the day on January 28, 2026, following the major snowfall event that impacted the GTA on January 25.
Service Deployment
All teams were called in and deployed beginning at 12:00 PM on January 28 to perform a service run that included:
-
Plow service
-
Salt service run
-
Detailed tidy-up of parking stalls, drive lanes, and any areas requiring additional attention
Teams have been working tirelessly since the major storm, which left properties across the GTA with approximately 35–45 cm of snowfall from Sunday morning through the evening hours. This cleanup was necessary to restore site functionality and address remaining snow buildup following multiple plow passes during the storm.
Temperature & Site Conditions
Temperatures throughout the day remained well below freezing, ranging between –12°C and –14°C across most regions. At temperatures below –7°C, standard white salt begins to lose effectiveness, which may slow melting response times. Salt was applied strategically to improve traction and help manage slippery conditions where possible.
Salt Supply Update
Southern Ontario continues to experience a province-wide salt shortage, impacting availability for private contractors across the GTA. Paramount Landscaping Inc. continues to secure salt as it becomes available and applies material carefully and responsibly to prioritize safety across all serviced properties. Service methods may be adjusted based on material availability and site conditions.

Status
Storm cleanup and tidy-up services were completed across all properties. Teams remain prepared to respond should conditions change.
