On Time

Paramount Snow Management teams are monitoring a weather system forecasted across all regions of the GTA throughout the day on February 21, 2026.  As of 9:00 PM, all sites across the GTA remain clean and clear.

Temperatures below the 401 corridor are currently above freezing, while regions north of the 401 are experiencing below-freezing temperatures with some potential for freezing drizzle.

Regional Monitoring Overview

Teams continue to monitor all sites throughout these regions. Scattered flurries are possible beginning around 11:00 PM on February 21. Temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing overnight and into February 22.

Teams will continue monitoring and will update should servicing become required.

Salt Supply Update

Southern Ontario continues to experience a province-wide salt shortage due to increased winter demand and ongoing supply chain constraints, with municipalities being prioritized. Product availability remains limited and inconsistent across all regions.

Paramount Snow Management continues working diligently to secure salt supplies; however, availability is becoming increasingly scarce across the GTA and surrounding regions. Depot inventories fluctuate daily, and access to material cannot always be guaranteed.

Salt applications are being deployed strategically and responsibly to ensure the most effective use of available material while prioritizing safety.

Our teams will continue to monitor conditions closely throughout the night and into February 22.
