The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge are on standby for April 2, 2025, as there is a potential for some freezing rain throughout the afternoon hours of April 2, 2025. Across the GTA, we are under a rainfall warning for April 2, 2025, with a potential for 30 to 50 mm of rain and a chance of thunderstorms. During this weather episode, temperatures are forecasted to be below freezing forecasted around -1°C and 0°C before temperatures are on the rise for the evening hours with a high of 5°C. There is a potential during the hours of 10 am and 12 pm to see some scattered flurries with a chance of 1 to 3 cm, and between 1 pm and 6 pm, we could see some ice pellets before changing to rain, all while temperatures are at -1°C.
