The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge are monitoring a potential weather system in the forecast for the early morning of March 6, 2025. All regions have a chance for some scattered flurries in the morning hours of March 6, 2025, with a chance of less than a centimeter of snowfall. Temperatures during the overnight and early morning are forecasted to be above freezing and remain above freezing during the episode before starting to dip below freezing around 8 am to -1°C. Our snow management teams are monitoring this weather system and our teams are on standby should servicing be required. As of 5:30 am our teams within these regions reported that some flurries were taking place and temperatures had started to dip. Our management teams continued to monitor sites within these regions as nothing had started to freeze over. Our teams were then called in for 7 am to perform a salt service run throughout all properties within Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo service regions as the temperatures are below freezing, this salt service run is being performed to help combat the snow that fell as well any slippery areas from arising. Our teams within these regions completed their salt service run as of 12 pm on March 6, 2025. As of 2 pm our teams within Cambridge were dispatched to service properties within this region. Reports were received that streamers came through this region and properties were starting to ice up due to the temperatures being belowfreezing. Our teams completed this service run as of 5 pm on March 6, 2025. Our teams remain on standby should further servicing be required. Please check back to this site for future service updates.
