Winter Storm Watch and Site Service First Round Completion February 16, 2025

Snow

On Time

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown started their first service run of plowing at 10 pm on February 15, 2025.  Our teams had been monitoring and gearing up for another major snowstorm that is started to impact our region early morning of February 15, 2025, which began around 5 am across the GTA.  We received anywhere between 5 to 10 cm of snowfall during the afternoon and into the evening hours.  Our teams completed their first plow service as of 8 am on February 16, 2025.  All teams are being sent home for a rest period.  We are still forecasted to see a possible 10 to 12 cm of snowfall until 8 pm on February 16 with the heavier band of snow between 9 am and 12 pm.  Our teams will be starting a secondary run as of 2 pm upon our snow management reviewing this system to start a secondary plow run and a salt run will commence during the overnight hours.  Temperatures throughout this weather episode are forecasted to be sitting around -5°C.  Our snow management teams will continue to monitor this winter storm and will update should things change with the weather and this system.
