The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge will be monitoring all cities within these regions as our teams across the GTA are starting a secondary round of servicing as of 7 pm on January 31, 2025. Southern regions of the GTA saw a heavy band of snow that came through in the afternoon around 3 pm which we have seen anywhere from 3 to 6 cm, our teams are being deployed to perform a plow service followed by a salt service run in all regions. Temperatures are hovering around the freezing mark sitting at 0°C with dropping temperatures overnight and into the early morning hours to -11°C by 3 am. As of 7 pm, our teams within these regions are not requiring further servicing since the salt service run was performed earlier today, but our snow management staff will keep a close eye on these regions as they did not see what Southern GTA received. Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our snow management teams continue to track this next weather episode.
