The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown started a full salt service run of all properties within these regions as of 2 am on January 28, 2025.  All sites across these regions received anywhere from 1-2 cm of snowfall during the evening and overnight hours.  Our teams are performing a salt service run to combat the snow that has fallen and to help combat the snow that continues throughout the morning in the forecast.  Salt service runs also help combat slippery areas that may arise while temperatures are below freezing.  Temperatures throughout this weather episode were hovering around -1°C with a low of -6°C by 6 am on January 28, 2025.  Our teams completed their salt service runs within these regions as of 7 am on January 28, 2025.  All teams will be sent home for a rest period as we are forecasted to see more snow throughout the afternoon beginning around 3 pm on January 28, 2025, with a potential for 2 to 4 centimeters until 10 am on January 29th, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our snow management teams continue to track this next weather episode.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge started a full salt service run of all properties within these regions as of 2 am on January 28, 2025 which turned into a full plow service as these areas received anywhere from 5-10 cm of snowfall.  All sites across these regions received anywhere from 5 to 10 cm of snowfall during the evening and overnight hours.  Our teams are performing a full plow service followed by a salt service run to combat the snow that has fallen and to help combat the snow that continued throughout the morning hours of January 28, 2025.  The salt service run will also help combat slippery areas that may arise while temperatures are below freezing.  Temperatures throughout this weather episode were hovering around -1°C with a low of -6°C by 6 am on January 28, 2025.  Our teams completed their full plow service and salt service runs within these regions as of 11 am on January 28, 2025.  All teams will be sent home for a rest period as we are forecasted to see more snow throughout the afternoon beginning around 3 pm on January 28, 2025, with a potential for 1 cm in the afternoon, 1-3 cm in the evening and another 1-3 cm overnight into January 29th, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our snow management teams continue to track this next weather episode.
