The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown will be monitoring all sites and regions throughout the evening and overnight hours of January 27 into January 28, 2025.  Across the GTA we are forecasted to see a snow event with approximately 1 to 3 cm across all regions beginning around 8 pm and tapering off around 6 am on January 28, 2025.  We anticipate a salt service run during the early morning hours of January 28, 2025, to combat the snow that has fallen and to help combat the snow that continues throughout the morning in the forecast.  Salt service runs are also performed to help combat slippery areas that may arise while temperatures are below freezing.  Temperatures throughout this weather episode are hovering around -1°C with a low of -5°C by 6 am on January 28, 2025.  All teams have been placed on standby and will deploy once our snow management staff have tracked this weather system.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
