The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown started a salt service run throughout these regions as of 3 am on January 24, 2025.  All areas have seen anywhere from a trace of snowfall to a centimeter throughout the overnight and early morning hours which appears to be some lake-effect snowfall.  This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well as the potential for the snow throughout the morning hours as there is a potential for less than a centimeter around 5 am, this was also performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to temperatures being below freezing.  Temperatures are sitting around -6°C with a low of -9 by 9 am on January 24.  We have an estimated completion time of 7:00 am on January 24, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our teams will continue to monitor.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Brantford started a salt service run throughout these regions as of 3 am on January 24, 2025.  All areas have seen anywhere from a trace of snowfall to a centimeter throughout the overnight and early morning hours which appears to be some lake-effect snowfall.  Some areas as Hamilton Mountain may have seen a little more snowfall accumulating to 1 to 2 centimeters.  This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well as the potential for the snow throughout the morning hours as there is a chance for less than a centimeter between 5 and 8 am, this was also performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to temperatures being below freezing.  Temperatures are sitting around -6°C with a low of -10 by 9 am on January 24.  We have an estimated completion time of 8 am on January 24, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our teams will continue to monitor.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough, and Markham are monitoring all sites throughout the evening hours of January 23, 2025 across the GTA.  The forecast calls for less than a centimeter to a centimeter in most areas throughout these regions during the early morning hours between 6 and 7 am on January 24, 2025.  Our teams have been put on standby should a salt service run be required throughout the evening hours.  Temperatures are sitting around -8°C with a low of -12°C by 9 am on January 24.  All teams have been put on standby should servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our teams will continue to monitor.

 

** UPDATE – As of 3 am on January 24, 2025, teams within these areas have been monitoring all sites throughout the overnight and early morning hours.  No snow has fallen within these regions but our teams will continue to monitor the weather as well as sites.  Should servicing be required within these regions our teams will deploy as they are on standby.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – As of 10 pm on January 23, 2025, our teams in London serviced the sites as they had seen snow around a trace to a centimeter that had fallen in the evening hours.  Our teams performed a salt service run to help combat the snow that has fallen as well to help combat any slippery areas that may arise while temperatures are below freezing.  Our teams completed their salt service run as of 11 pm on January 23, 2025.  Our teams in Woodstock continue to monitor and we will update as servicing is required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
