The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge are monitoring all sites throughout the evening hours of January 23, 2025 across the GTA. The forecast calls for less than a centimeter to a centimeter in most areas throughout these regions during the early morning hours beginning around 8 pm and lasting through to 10 pm. Our teams have been put on standby should a salt service run be required throughout the evening hours. Temperatures are sitting around -7°C with a low of -10°C by 3 am on January 23. ** UPDATE – As of 6 pm on January 23, 2025 our teams within Guelph were dispatched to perform a salt service run of all properties within this city. We have seen a trace of snowfall to a centimeter of snow throughout the afternoon and early evening hours of January 23, 2025. Our teams are performing this salt service run to help combat the snow that fell as well future snow that is in the forecast as we are potentially less than a centimeter of snow until 10pm on January 24. Temperatures during this episode are forecasted to be sitting around -7°C and by 2 am -10°C so the service run is also being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise.
