Partly Cloudy

On Time

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown are monitoring all sites throughout the early morning of January 23, 2025, across the GTA.  The forecast calls for less than a centimeter to a centimeter in most areas throughout these regions during the early morning hours beginning around 4 am and lasting through to 11 am.  Our teams have been put on standby should a salt service run be required throughout the morning hours.  If the salt run is being performed it is to help combat the snow that has fallen as well potential for the snow throughout the morning hours.  Our teams will use treated salt with frigid temperatures salt loses its effectiveness after -7°C so our teams will use Treated Salt but this can take time to react due to the temperatures sitting around -8°C should servicing be required.  Temperatures are well around seasonal temperatures sitting around -10 with a low of -8 by 2 am on January 23.  All teams have been put on standby should servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as our teams will continue to monitor.

Please check back to this site and our 24-Hour Snowline at 855-906-0279 ext. 1, as updates are made to both sites throughout any weather episode.
