Site Servicing and Weather Monitoring January 18, 2025

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown have been monitoring the sites and the weather since the early morning of January 18, 2025, across the GTA.  We started seeing rain around 8 am on January 18, 2025, with temperatures still above freezing around 2°C for most regions before changing to mixed precipitation around 1 pm.  Our teams were called in to perform a salt service run for 2 pm to perform a salt service run throughout all regions.  Temperatures are forecasted to drop around 3 pm on January 18, 2025, and drop drastically overnight and remain in the Polar Vortex with frigid temperatures over the next few days this week.  This service run is being performed to help combat the rain and mixed precipitation that we saw to help prevent any areas from getting slippery.  Temperatures are currently as of 2 pm still just sitting around the freezing mark and by 10 pm on January 18, 2025, it is supposed to be -7°C.  Our teams have an estimated completion of this salt service run as of 7 pm on January 17, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
