The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown teams started a full salt service run throughout these regions as of 8 pm on January 1, 2025.  Throughout the afternoon and into the evening of January 1st throughout the regions across the GTA, all areas saw scattered flurries and mixed precipitation.  With temperatures hovering around 0 to 1°C and forecasted to dip in the early morning hours of January 2, 2025, our teams performed a salt service run for preventative maintenance of all sites.  This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that fell throughout the daytime and any slippery areas that may arise when temperatures dip around 5 am on January 2nd to -1°C.  All teams completed their salt service runs as of 1 am on January 2, 2025.  Our teams will continue to monitor all sites throughout these regions as there is a potential for scattered flurries off and on throughout the day on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Brantford teams started a full salt service run throughout these regions as of 8 pm on January 1, 2025.  Throughout the afternoon and into the evening of January 1st throughout the regions across the GTA, all areas saw scattered flurries and mixed precipitation.  With temperatures hovering around 0 to 1°C and forecasted to dip in the early morning hours of January 2, 2025, our teams performed a salt service run for preventative maintenance of all sites.  This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that fell throughout the daytime and any slippery areas that may arise when temperatures dip around 5 am on January 2nd to -1°C.  All teams completed their salt service runs as of 1 am on January 2, 2025.  Our teams will continue to monitor all sites throughout these regions as there is a potential for scattered flurries off and on throughout the day on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

As of 8:30 am our teams within Brantford have started a full plow service and will follow with a salt service run.  Our teams reported that with the streamers that were coming through this region throughout the early morning hours of January 2, 2025, they had received anywhere from 5 to 6 cm of snowfall after the salt service run was completed on January 1st, 2025.  Our teams will be plowing all sites and a salt service run will commence right after to help combat the snow that has fallen and potentially going to continue to fall as the forecast is calling for scattered flurries throughout the day today.  Temperatures are below freezing sitting around -2°C with a low of -3°C.  Our teams completed their full plow service and salt service as of noon on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge teams started a full salt service run throughout these regions as of 8 pm on January 1, 2025.  Throughout the afternoon and into the evening of January 1st throughout the regions across the GTA, all areas saw scattered flurries and mixed precipitation.  With temperatures hovering around 0 to 1°C and forecasted to dip in the early morning hours of January 2, 2025, our teams performed a salt service run for preventative maintenance of all sites.  This salt run was performed to help combat the snow that fell throughout the daytime and any slippery areas that may arise when temperatures dip around 5 am on January 2nd to -1°C.  All teams completed their salt service runs as of 1 am on January 2, 2025.  Our teams will continue to monitor all sites throughout these regions as there is a potential for scattered flurries off and on throughout the day on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

As of 1 am our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo have started a service run.  These areas have received close to 15 cm of 12:30 am, a streamer came through and these regions will now be plowed.  We will start a full plow service followed by a full salt service run.   Environment Canada has posted a snow squall warning for these regions with more snow to follow.  There is a potential for another 3 cm of snowfall to follow until early morning.  Temperatures are below freezing sitting around -2°C with a low of -4°C.  All sites were serviced with a full plow service and a salt service run as of 2 pm on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

As of 4:30 am on January 2, 2025, our teams within Cambridge began a full plow service, within these areas, they had seen close to 6 cm of snowfall that came through with the streamers that have been hitting these regions during the early morning hours.  Our teams within Cambridge completed a full plow service followed by a salt service run as of 11 am on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

As of 8 am our teams within Guelph are plowing all sites within this region as an additional 3 to 4 cm has fallen with another band of snow that came through during the early morning hours, our teams are plowing all sites and commencing with another salt service run of all sites.  Our teams within Guelph completed a full plow service followed by a salt service run as of 10 am on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams within Mississauga, Brampton, and Georgetown teams will be starting a full salt service run as of 8 pm on January 1, 2025.  Throughout the afternoon and into the evening of January 1st throughout the regions across the GTA, all areas saw scattered flurries and mixed precipitation and are forecasted for some scattered flurries throughout the overnight and early morning hours.  With temperatures hovering around 0 to 1°C and forecasted to dip in the early morning hours of January 2, 2025, our teams are performing a salt service run for preventative maintenance of all sites.  This salt run is being performed to help combat the snow that fell throughout the daytime and any slippery areas that may arise when temperatures dip around 5 am on January 2nd to -1°C.  We have an estimated completion time of this service run of all properties throughout these regions as of 1 am on January 2nd, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

Sites within Georgetown are requiring another salt service run as of 10 am, within this region we received reports that they had seen anywhere from 1 to 3 centimeters depending on the area.  Our teams are performing another salt service run to help combat the snow that fell as well as to help combat the snow that is forecasted to continue throughout the day on January 2, 2025, on sites that require a salt service run.  With the streamers, some areas received snow others were clear.  Within Georgetown, we are forecasted to continue to see scattered flurries throughout the daytime.  The temperatures throughout this region are sitting around -2° with a low of -3°C.  The salt run is to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the temperatures being below freezing during this weather episode.  Our teams completed their full salt service run and tidy up of sites throughout this region as of 12 pm on January 2, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as the weather may change.

** UPDATE – Sites within Mississauga are requiring another salt service run as of 10 am, within this region we have received reports that they had seen anywhere from 1 to 2 centimeters of snow depending on the areas within this region.  Our teams are performing another salt service run to help combat the snow that fell as well as to help combat the snow that is forecasted to continue throughout the day on January 2, 2025on sites that require a salt service run.  With the streamers, some areas received snow others were clear.  Within Mississauga, we are forecasted to continue to see scattered flurries throughout the daytime.  The temperatures throughout this region is sitting around -2°C with a low of -3°C.  The salt run is to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the temperatures being below freezing during this weather episode.  We have an estimated completion of this run as of 2 pm on January 2nd, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
