The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024 into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 4°C with a low of 2°C.  We are forecasted to potentially see some light showers turning to rain until 2 am on January 1, 2025 then turning to mixed precipitation.  Our teams continue to monitor this weather system as there is a chance for a salt service run throughout these regions during the evening and overnight hours of December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as we continue to monitor.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Brantford are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024, into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 4°C with a low of 1°C as of 4 am.  We are forecasted to potentially see some light showers turning to rain until 11 pm on December 31, 2024.  Forecast shows there is a chance for some mixed precipitation around midnight changing to scattered flurries until 7 am on January 1, 2025 with a potential of close to 1 cm.  Temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing during this weather episode. Our teams continue to monitor this weather system as there is a chance for a salt service run throughout these regions during the evening and overnight hours of December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as we continue to monitor.

Light Snow

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024, into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 3°C with a low of 1°C as of 6 pm.  We are forecasted to potentially see some light snow from 6 pm until 11 pm changing to scattered flurries from midnight on January 1 until 2 pm.  There is a potential for close to 2 cm throughout these service regions from December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing until midnight dropping to 0° and going below freezing around 3 pm on January 1, 2025.  Our teams continue to monitor this weather system as there is a chance for a salt service run throughout these regions during the evening and overnight hours of December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as we continue to monitor.

** Update – As of 2 am our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo were deployed to perform a full salt service run of all properties within these regions.  Reports were given that a streamer came through these regions and had seen anywhere from 1 – 2 cm of snowfall throughout.  Our teams have an estimated completion of this salt service run within these cities as of 5 am on January 1, 2025.  No servicing was required throughout Guelph and Cambridge and will continue to be monitored throughout this weather episode.

Mixed Precipitation

The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough, and Markham are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024, into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 4°C with a low of 1°C as of 2 am.  We are forecasted to potentially see some light rain until 1 am on January 1, 2025, changing to mixed precipitation and then to scattered flurries until 7 am.  There is a chance of close to a centimeter of scattered flurries until 2 pm on New Year’s Day.  Temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing during this weather episode.  Our teams continue to monitor this weather system as there is a chance for a salt service run throughout these regions during the evening and overnight hours of December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as we continue to monitor.

** Update – As of 2 am our teams within Markham reported areas of concern with slushy parking lots.  Our teams were deployed to do a salt service run within this region.  This salt run is being performed to combat any snow that has fallen as well any slippery areas that may arise while temperatures hover around 1.  Please check back to this site for any service level changes.

The Paramount Service teams within Mississauga, Brampton, and Georgetown are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024, into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 4°C with a low of 2°C as of 9 pm.  We are forecasted to potentially see some mixed precipitation around midnight until 6 am on January 1 with a chance of scattered flurries with less than a centimeter of snow.  Temperatures are forecasted to remain above freezing during this weather episode. The Paramount Service teams throughout London and Woodstock are monitoring a potential weather system forecasted throughout the GTA from December 31, 2024, into January 1, 2025.  Our teams are monitoring this system as the temperatures remain above freezing sitting around 3°C with a low of 1°C as of 7 pm.  We are forecasted to potentially see some mixed precipitation between the hours of 4 pm on December 31 until 2 am on January 1, 2025.  The forecast shows there is a chance for some scattered flurries around 3 am on January 1 going through to 8 pm on New Year’s Day with a chance of 2cm of snow.  Temperatures remain above freezing throughout this weather episode and don’t go below freezing until 5 pm on January 1, 2025.  Our teams continue to monitor this weather system as there is a chance for a salt service run throughout these regions during the evening and overnight hours of December 31 into January 1, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates as we continue to monitor.
