The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Brantford as of 11 pm on December 20, 2024, reports from our teams within Hamilton and Stoney Creek are that the properties within these areas have turned icy.  With the temperatures sitting around -7°C regular road salt can lose its effectiveness to help combat the slippery areas that are arising due to the frigid temperatures and the snow/slush that are on the sites within these regions.  Our teams are performing another salt run this evening to help combat the slippery areas from the snow that has fallen throughout the system that came through earlier in the overnight hours of December 19 to 20th.  Our teams will be performing tidy-up while on site, cleaning up any slushy areas from the snow earlier in the day.  Our teams completed this service run as of 9 am on December 21, 2024.
