Snow

On Time

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown teams started a full salt service run of all sites throughout these regions as of 1 am on December 20, 2024.  Throughout the GTA, around 8 pm on December 19, 2024, we started seeing scattered flurries throughout these regions which continued throughout the overnight and early morning hours.  Snow began to taper off to light flurries around 5 am on December 20, 2024, and in most sites within these regions, we have seen anywhere from a trace to 2 cm of snowfall.  Temperatures throughout the storm remained below freezing sitting around -3°C.  We are forecasted to still possibly see close to a centimeter of scattered flurries until around 3 pm on December 20, 2024.  Our teams have been monitoring this weather and sites and plan to perform a secondary salt run this afternoon after a mandatory rest period.  This second run will be performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well as any slippery areas that could arise.  All sites were salted throughout the overnight hours and completed their service runs as of 5 am on December 20, 2024.  Please check back for future service level updates as our teams will be back out this afternoon to service your properties once again.
