Heavy Snow
On Time
Paramount teams performed a salt service run during the early morning hours of December 10, beginning at 1:00 AM. This salt run was conducted to help combat the snow that had fallen, with most regions across the GTA receiving a couple of centimeters of accumulation.
With our Snow Management Team’s expertise in how snow and ice behave, this salt service run was performed to melt the accumulated snow and establish brine on all surfaces. Getting brine down early is essential, as it prevents snow from bonding to pavement and creates continued melting action as conditions change.
We are forecasted to receive rain in the afternoon, and with the brine already established, this service was performed to help ensure properties do not freeze or experience ice formation as temperatures fluctuate. With another couple of centimeters of snow forecasted, the brine will help eat up the incoming snow and minimize accumulation.
Properties should remain safe with the servicing that has been completed.
Our teams will continue to monitor sites throughout all regions during the afternoon to ensure conditions remain safe.
Temperatures are forecasted to drastically drop tonight, and we will be performing another salt service run to combat the rain and snow, ensuring nothing freezes as surfaces cool rapidly.
Please continue to check back for updates at www.paramountlandscaping.ca/snowline.
