The Paramount Snow Management Teams have been monitoring the weather system moving through the region, which began around 9:00 PM on December 1.  Forecasts are calling for 1–3 cm to 2–4 cm of snowfall, with scattered flurries anticipated throughout the duration of the system.

Temperatures during this event are expected to remain around –1°C to –2°C.

As of 1:00 AM on December 2, 2025, teams are starting a full salt service run in all regions across the GTA to help combat the snow that has fallen and the additional snowfall forecasted through the early morning hours.  This salt service run is being performed to manage ongoing accumulation and to address any slippery areas that may arise as temperatures remain below freezing.
