The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown teams started to monitor another weather system that appeared in the forecast around 11 pm on February 6 for the overnight and early morning hours of February 7, 2025. The forecast is calling for a band to come through all regions from Lake Huron which is forecasted to potentially bring 2 to 5cm of snowfall over a short period of 2 hours. Our teams are monitoring this lake effect band and all teams have been called to be on standby should servicing be required. Temperatures are below freezing while monitoring this weather episode sitting around -4°C. As of 4 am our teams were called in to perform a full salt service run throughout all regions of the GTA. We received anywhere from 1 to 2 cm of snowfall and required a salt service run. Our teams completed their service runs as of 9 am on February 7, 2025.
