The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown deployed as of 8 pm to perform a salt service run of all regions across the GTA on February 3, 2025. Our snow management teams had been monitoring the weather system passing through the GTA since the afternoon. We had been seeing some freezing rain, ice pellets as well rain depending on the region. Our teams performed this salt service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise while the temperatures are hovering around 1°C and 0°C and before the temperatures dip tonight below freezing. Throughout the early evening there was a potential for mixed precipitation with a chance of less than a centimeter of snowfall while temperatures are forecasted to be above freezing and by midnight on February 4, 2025, the temperatures are to be at the freezing point with a low of -3°C by 3 am. Our teams completed their salt service runs as of 1 am on February 4, 2025. Our snow management teams will continue to monitor all regions. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
