The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown started a full salt service run as of 7:00 PM on February 2nd, 2025,  Throughout the afternoon hours on February 2, 2025, we were seeing some flurries and in the forecast anywhere from 1 to 2 cm throughout the afternoon.  Our teams were called in to perform a salt service run as temperatures remain below freezing sitting around -5°C with a low of -2°C by 2 am on February 3rd, 2025. This service run is being performed to help combat the forecasted flurries and to combat any slippery areas arising while temperatures are below freezing.  We are forecasted to potentially see some rain beginning around 10 am on February 3, 2025, with temperatures around 2°C with temperatures on the climb hitting a high of 4°C.  Temperatures are forecasted to start to drop after that with a low of 0°C by 11 pm before going back under freezing.  Our teams throughout these regions completed this salt service run as of 1 am on February 3, 2025.  Our snow management teams will be monitoring this weather system as well as sites throughout the day on February 3rd and all teams are on standby should servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
