Salt Service Run and Weather Monitoring January 12, 2025

The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown snow management teams were monitoring a weather system that began around 8 pm on January 12, 2025.  Our teams have been called in to perform a salt service run throughout all regions of the GTA as of midnight on January 13, 2025.  With this system as of 10 pm some areas have seen a trace of snow with a potential of less than a centimeter into the early morning hours of January 13, 2025.  We are forecasted to see scattered flurries while temperatures hover around the freezing mark and rise to above freezing during the early morning hours.  This salt service run is being performed to help combat the snow that has fallen and is forecasted to continue to fall over the night and into the early morning hours of January 13, 2025. With temperatures hovering around -1°C and 0°C and on the rise our teams are performing this service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise.  We have an estimated completion of this service run as of 4 am on January 13, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
