The Paramount Service teams in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Waterdown teams are monitoring the weather as we are seeing scattered flurries across the GTA throughout the morning hours of January 7, 2025.  As of 11 am, all sites within these regions have been checked and no servicing is required throughout.  All teams will continue to monitor sites throughout these regions and weather as there is a potential for scattered flurries off and on throughout the day.  Temperatures are well below freezing sitting around -5°C with a low of -7° by early evening.  All teams remain on standby should further servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge teams continued to monitor all sites across the GTA during the morning of January 7, 2025.  Our teams within Guelph were dispatched as of 8 am on January 7, 2025, to perform a salt service run as we had received anywhere from a trace to a centimeter of snowfall throughout this region.  Our teams are performing this salt service run to help combat the snow that had fallen as well as potential scattered flurries that are in the forecast throughout the day.  Temperatures throughout the weather episode are well below freezing sitting around -7°C so the service run is being performed as well to help combat any slippery areas that may arise.  Our teams completed their salt service run as of noon on January 7, 2025.  Throughout this system, our teams within Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge will continue to monitor these regions as well as the weather as there have been some flurries. As of 8 pm, we had been receiving reports of scattered flurries with a band of streamers coming through these areas.  Our teams are beginning a salt service run within these areas as of 6:30 pm on January 7, 2025, to help combat the snow that has fallen as well the scattered flurries that we have been seeing off and on all day today.  Within these regions, we have seen anywhere from a dusting to around 1 cm of snowfall.  Temperatures are well below freezing during this weather episode sitting around -9°C, with temperatures being this low please note that salt can lose its effectiveness after -7°C.  Our teams are using treated salt for this weather episode.  Our teams completed their salt service run as of 10 pm on January 7, 2025.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates or changes within the service levels.

The Paramount Service teams within Mississauga, Brampton, and Georgetown teams started a full salt service run as of 7 am on January 7, 2025, as we had received a trace to a centimeter of snowfall throughout these regions with streamers that have come through during the early morning hours.  This salt service run is being performed to help combat the snow that has fallen and the possibility of more streamers coming throughout the day.  Temperatures throughout the day today are well below freezing so the salt service run will also help combat any slippery areas that may arise.  Our teams completed this salt service run at 11 am on January 7, 2025.  All teams remain on standby should further servicing be required as we will continue to monitor the weather and sites.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

The Paramount Service teams throughout London and Woodstock teams are monitoring the weather as we are seeing scattered flurries across the GTA throughout the morning hours of January 7, 2025.  As of 8 am, all sites within these regions have been checked and no servicing is required throughout.  All teams will continue to monitor sites throughout these regions and weather as there is a potential for scattered flurries off and on throughout the day.  Temperatures are well below freezing sitting around -5°C with a low of -7° by early evening.  All teams remain on standby should further servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – Our teams reported in London that a salt service run is required throughout this region.  They have seen a trace to a centimeter of snowfall during the morning hours of January 7, 2025 our teams began a salt service run within this region as of 10:30 am to help combat the snow that fell during the morning hours.  There is also a potential for another centimeter of snow throughout the evening and overnight hours into January 8, 2025.  This service run is performed to help combat the future forecasted snow as well as combat any slippery areas from forming as the temperatures within these regions are well below freezing sitting around -7°C with a low of -9°C by the early evening hours.  Our teams completed their service runs as of noon on January 7, 2025, and will remain on standby should further servicing be required.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – As of 5 pm our team within London was out to perform a tidy-up of all sites within this area, reports are of continuous snow throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening as well into the morning hours of January 8, 2025.  Our teams are clearing and salting all properties within this region to help combat the snow that has fallen as well as the snow that is continuing to fall.  We have a chance to see close to 10-15cm of snowfall for this region spanning until tomorrow evening January 8, 2025.  Our teams will continue to keep properties open and clear for our clients.  Please check back to this site as service levels may change throughout London over the evening and overnight hours.

** UPDATE – London is seeing still a band of snowfall, as of January 8 within London some areas had received close to a foot of snowfall.  Our teams are working tirelessly to keep our properties clean and safe.  You will be receiving multiple services within London including Plowing, Shovelling of Sidewalks as well Salting as the snow continues to fall.  We are forecast to see another 2 – 4 cm of snowfall during the day, evening, and overnight hours of January 8 into January 9, 2025.   Temperatures during this weather episode remain well below freezing sitting around -10°C and a low of -9°C by 9 am on January 9, 2025.  Please check back to this site as service levels may change.
