The Paramount Service teams throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph are monitoring the weather system that is coming through these regions during the evening of January 6, 2022. Within these regions there is a chance to see some scattered flurries over the next few hours and temperatures throughout the night and into the early morning of January 7 are well below freezing. Our teams are on standby and monitoring all sites throughout this weather system and will be making a decision of service level requirements. We anticipate a salt run will be performed within Guelph whereas our teams in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge are monitoring all sites as the snow has not begun to stick. Please check back to this site for future updates on service levels if required.
*UPDATE – Our teams for the Guelph region will be starting a salt run as of 1am on January 7, 2022. This salt run is to help combat the snow that has fallen which could potentially turn icy due to the temperatures being well below freezing throughout the early morning hours. This will also help combat any flurries that may fall after the salt run has been completed. We have an anticipated completion of routes within these regions by 4am on January 7, 2022. Please check back to this site for further updates as this site is updated throughout any weather episode.
