Winter Storm Watch January 1, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams wish all of our valued customers a wonderful and Happy New Year! With that begin said, our teams are monitoring a weather system that is tracking through all regions throughout the evening of January 1 and into January 2nd, 2022. The storm is forecasted to start around 4pm with mixed precipitation with the temperatures still above the freezing point around 3 degrees. The temperature dips below freezing around 8pm on January 1 with the majority of the snowfall forecasted to come overnight and in the early morning hours of January 2nd, 2022. Currently the forecast is showing possibly 5 to 10cm of snowfall. All teams are preparing for this first real winter storm for these regions, we anticipate a full plow run with tidy up of residual snow that has fallen and will commence a salt run right after the plowing has been completed.
