Winter Storm Completion February 28, 2023

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams had a later start than originally planned due to the heavy volumes of traffic, cars stuck on roads as well dealing with road closures. Our teams started as of 8pm on February 27, 2023 to begin a full plow service of all properties throughout these regions. We were forecasted to see anywhere from 5 to 10cm of snowfall with the bulk of the snow hitting between 5pm and 7pm. We received anywhere from 10 to 15cm and some areas up to 20cm of snowfall due to the blowing and drifting snow as well. The snow began to taper off as of 7:30pm and transitioned to freezing rain and rain while temperatures started to rise. Our teams completed their plow runs as of 4am and a salt run began right after by all teams. Our teams completed all sites with the salt service run as of 12pm on February 28, 2023. Our teams have been sent home for a mandatory rest period but remain on standby should the weather change. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
