Winter Storm Completion February 22, 2021

The Paramount Service teams throughout Oshawa and Ajax started a salt run as of 7am on February 22, 2021.  We have received around 2 to 3cm of snowfall since 5am throughout these regions, some areas required to be plowed as we continued to receive flurries before the temperatures started to rise and changed to rain.  Our teams within these regions completed their runs by 3pm on February 22, 2021.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Grimsby and Brantford started a salt run as of 7am on February 22, 2021.  Throughout these service areas we received anywhere from 2 to 3cm of snowfall which began around 5am throughout these regions.  During the morning we started to see more flurries throughout these areas and some sites required to be plowed as well salted before the temperatures started to rise and changed to rain.  Our teams completed a full salt service run as of 3pm on February 22, 2021.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge started a full plow run as of 7am on February 22, 2021.  We have received around 5 to 7cm of snowfall since 5am throughout these regions.  All teams will be starting a full salt service run once plowing has been completed.  All teams completed their full plow service as of 3pm with the salt run commencing right after.  Temperatures throughout the day started to rise and change to rain.  All teams within these service regions completed their full service routes as of 7pm on February 22nd, 2021.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Toronto, Scarborough and Markham started a salt run as of 7am on February 22, 2021. Some areas our teams are plowing due to drifting snow before the temperatures started to rise and change to rain. We have received around 2 to 3cm of snowfall since 5am throughout these regions. All teams completed their full service run with both plowing and salting in most areas by 3pm on February 22, 2021.
