Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown are gearing up for another storm that is forecasted to begin around 8am on February 13, 2021. These service areas are expected to receive another 20-25cm of snowfall during this weather system with areas closer to and above the 401 forecasted to receive less. This system is forecasted to start in the morning and continue into the overnight hours of February 13, 2021. All teams will be on standby until the decision is made to deploy. Snow squalls redeveloping Sunday.

After a dry night tonight, it is expected that snow squalls will redevelop and move back into the area early Saturday morning, potentially bringing another 20 cm or more of new snowfall.

Travel is expected to be difficult once again, particularly along portions of the QEW, with very heavy snow resulting in reduced visibilities at times.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
