Within Milton we received around 5cm of snowfall during this weather system. All teams worked very hard to service all sites within a timely manner. Our teams began a full service run with a plow run that began at 6pm on February 13, all teams completed their plowing by 4am with having to do a secondary run during this storm. Our teams then began a full salt service run, we did have some machine malfunctions during this system but it didn’t seem to hinder our teams or times very much. This salt run was performed with using treated salt on all sites due to the temperatures still remaining well below 0. All teams were completed their salt service runs by 10am on February 14, 2021. Our staff has been sent home for a well deserved and mandatory rest period. Our teams are also monitoring the next round of storms that are forecasted to begin during the early morning hours of February 15, 2021.
