The Paramount Service teams throughout Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge started a full salt service run as of 10pm on March 10, 2023. Our teams performed this salt run in preparation for the upcoming storm today Friday March 10, 2023. The salt will help combat the snow that is forecasted to start Friday morning around 5am with scattered flurries before changing to light snow. We are forecasted for most cities within these regions to see anywhere from 10 – 15cm with a possibility of up to 20cm in some areas of snowfall during the day on March 10. With the salt run being performed we are anticipating this to help combat the snow for most of the day before our teams are deployed after rush-hour to perform a full plow service followed by a salt service run during the overnight hours. We will update this site regarding the pending storm March 10 during the day advising what our teams are doing to help combat another storm.
