Site Servicing & Monitoring Completion January 22, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams will be monitoring all sites throughout the overnight and into the morning hours of January 21 into January 22, 2022. Within these regions we were some lake effect flurries that began in the afternoon hours of January 21, 2022. The forecast is calling for less than a centimeter of snowfall, with the residual salt on all properties they should remain safe. All teams remain on standby and our Snow Staff will be monitoring all sites. If servicing is required in any region we will be updating this site.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Brantford teams started a full salt service of all sites within these regions as of 10pm on January 21, 2022. These cities have been seeing lake effect flurries throughout the day and tapered off around 9pm, we are receiving reports that they have received 1-2cm across these regions. Our teams will be performing this salt run due to the flurries received throughout the day to help combat the snow that fell. With temperatures still well below freezing this will also help combat any slippery areas from forming. All sites were serviced by 5am on January 22, 2022.

** UPDATE – Teams within these regions have been out monitoring all sites as they also received lake effect flurries throughout the evening. It was determined that a full salt service run would be necessary to help combat the snow that fell. These areas received a trace of snowfall.
