The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will be starting a full salt service run as of 12am on January 17, 2023.  Our teams have been monitoring the forecast along with the alerts posted by Environment Canada for a potential freezing rain episode which is forecasted to begin around 3am for most regions and last for about 6 to 8 hours before temperatures start to rise above freezing.  There is also a potential for less than a centimeter of snow fall to happen while this episode takes place around 4am.  Temperatures are climbing above the freezing mark during the day tomorrow with rain.  The salt service run is being performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise due to the freezing as well to combat the flurries that are forecasted.  We have an anticipated completion of this salt service run by 5am on January 17, 2023.  Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
