Site Servicing and Monitoring January 22, 2021

Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown and Milton have been monitoring all sites as well this weather system that has been coming through these service regions starting 6am on January 22nd, 2021. All sites still have residual salt on properties and no servicing as of 8am is required. We are forecasted to see less than a centimeter throughout the day today. With temperatures going down to -10 overnight and colder we will be sending all crews out for a salt service run to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. Residential properties will not be serviced during this weather episode as we did not hit the 5cm threshold of snowfall. Paramount Service teams in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge started to perform a full salt service run within these regions. All sites had received anywhere from a trace to 2cm of snowfall with a potential for more throughout the day of January 22, 2021. This salt service run is being performed as the temperatures below freezing and continuing to fall throughout the day and overnight and to help combat any slippery areas from arising.

**UPDATE – As of 11am some sites within Toronto service region are being spot salted to help combat any slippery areas from arising.

Sites within Richmond Hill received a salt service run during the early morning hours of January 22, 2021. These sites had received a trace of snow during the early morning hours and with the temperatures hovering around the freezing mark this salt run was performed to help prevent any slippery areas from arising.
