Site Service & Storm Watch December 18, 2021

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown teams started their pre-salt service run as of 12:45am on December 18, 2021. All teams were completed within these areas by 6am on December 18. Teams have been sent home to rest until this afternoon once we get a better idea of how this storm system is going to pan out. The decision will be made throughout the early afternoon as to what type of service level will be performed whether it will be a plow service or a salt service run.

We continue to track the weather system that is forecasted to hit all service regions in the morning hours of December 18th, 2021 starting around 7am. Within all regions the forecast is stating anywhere from 5 to 10cm of snowfall is possible. Our teams will be starting a pre-salt service run in anticipation of the winter storm to ensure safety of all properties. With the higher temperatures throughout all regions this week the ground is still warm. With the snow falling the areas could get slippery really fast with the termpatures dipping below the freezing point. Please check back to this site for service level updates.
