Site and Weather Monitoring December 18, 2022

The Paramount Service teams throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Waterdown will continue to monitor sites within these regions on December 18, 2022. We don’t anticipate any servicing to be required but we are forecasted to see some scattered flurries with less than a centimeter throughout the day today. Temperatures are hovering around the 0 degree mark. Our teams are monitoring and if servicing is required our teams are on standby to deploy. Please check back to this site for future updates.

As of 11pm on December 18 all sites were checked as we had received the scattered flurries throughout the daytime. All sites were checked to ensure the safety and no servicing was required. Our teams will remain on standby should service level requirements change, the weather during the overnight hours shows no precipitation but this can also change throughout. We don’t anticipate any servicing to be required but we are forecasted to see some scattered flurries with less than a centimeter throughout the day today. Temperatures are hovering around the 0 degree mark. Our teams are monitoring and if servicing is required our teams are on standby to deploy. Please check back to this site for future updates.

UPDATE – Throughout the evening of December 18 sites within our Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo regions had another bout of snow that came through these regions. Forecast was possible for 1-3 cm of snowfall and these areas saw around 1-2cm throughout this weather episode. All sites within these regions will be receiving a salt service run. This run is being performed to help combat the snow that has fallen as well there is a chance for some scattered flurries throughout the morning which this salt run will help combat as well. Temperatures throughout this weather episode and salt run will be below the freezing point. Our teams have an estimated completion of these runs within Guelph as of 4am as their run began as of 11pm. Kitchener, Waterloo is beginning as of 12am with an estimated completion of this run by 5am. Sites within Cambridge have been monitored throughout this system but it seems as though these areas were not hit by the snow that came through. Teams within Cambridge will continue to montiro the sites as well weather and we will update this site should this change.

The Paramount Service teams throughout Fort Erie service areas are planning on another full plow service as of 3am December 18 as we are expecting another 10cm of snowfall. We will update this site for service updates should this requirement change. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.

** UPDATE – our teams within Fort Erie were back out again this morning (December 18) as anticipated to perform a full plow service to cleanup the properties. There was approximately 10-12cm on ground from overnight December 17 into the early morning hours of the 18. Teams plowed all sites and a salt service run commenced to help combat further snow that may fall as well from any slippery areas from arising as temperatures remain below freezing. Fort Erie is forecasted to see another 1-2cm of snowfall beginning 6pm December 18 and ending around 5am with temperatures hovering between freezing to -2. Our teams will be back out to do any further tidy up as well a salt service run once this storm has completed. Please check back to this site for future service level updates.
