Service Completion December 9, 2020

Paramount Service teams for Waterdown, Milton and North Burlington performed a salt service run during the morning of December 9, 2020.  These areas received anywhere from a trace of snow to around 1cm of accumulation.  This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas from forming while the temperatures were hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark.  Throughout the day the temperatures are supposed to rise and sites will begin to dry up.  The teams completed their runs within these areas as of 12pm on December 9, 2020.

Paramount Service teams are monitoring the sites throughout Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby during the early morning hours of December 9, 2020.  Sites within these service areas have not yet seen any snow fall but all teams are on standby should the weather change as we are still forecasted to received less than a centimeter of snow into the morning rush hour.  Please check back to this site as it will be updated should service levels change.

Paramount Service teams within Guelph completed their salt service run of all sites and walks as of 10am on December 9, 2020.  Guelph received around a 1 to 1.5cm of snow fall.  This salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise as the temperatures were hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark.  The temperatures are forecasted to rise which will also help dry the sites up.

The teams within Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge were out during the morning after rush hour performing spot salting of sites where it was necessary.  Not a full salt service run was required within these cities.

Brantford did not see any precipitation from this weather episode that took place during the early morning hours of December 9.

Paramount Service teams completed their full plow and salt run of our sites with Toronto, Scarborough and Markham as of 1pm on December 9, 2020.  All sites required to be plowed as they had received anywhere from 5 to 7 centimetres of snowfall.  All sites received a full salt service after plowing was completed today.

Paramount Service teams within Mississauga completed their full salt service run as of 10:30am on December 9, 2020.  This service was performed as Mississauga had received anywhere from 1 to 1.5cm of snowfall.  The temperatures were hovering around the 0 to 1 degree mark so the salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may form until the temperatures start to rise throughout the day.

Paramount teams within Georgetown and Brampton received a full plow as well salt service run throughout the morning hours of December 9, 2020.  These sites received anywhere from 5 to 7cm of snowfall.  Once the plow was completed our teams performed a salt service run within these service areas.  The temperatures were hovering between the 0 to 1 degree mark so the salt will help combat any slippery areas from forming until the temperatures are forecasted to rise throughout the day.

Paramount Service teams started their service runs as of 4am on December 9, 2020.  The run was anticipated to be just a salt run but the weather turned around and these sites received anywhere from 5 to 7cm of snowfall.  All sites within Oshawa and Ajax received a full plow service with a salt run that commenced right after.  All sites were serviced within these cities as of 1pm on December 9, 2020.
