Salt Service Run Completion December 27, 2020

Paramount Service teams within Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown were monitoring the flurries that were taking place in the overnight hours of December 27, 2020. All sites were checked and no servicing was performed as the salt run that had been performed during the morning of December 26, 2020 helped combat the flurries that we were seeing. Sites within Milton received a salt service run during the early morning hours of December 27 as these sites had received around a centimetre of snowfall throughout. Walks crews were out servicing all sites as well. All teams within Milton were completed by 7am on December 27, 2020.

Paramount Service teams within Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby completed a salt service run. Some sites were plowed as well spot salted to help combat any slippery areas that may form. Sites within these service areas received around a trace of snowfall along with battling drifting snow. All teams were completed by 7am on December 27, 2020.

Paramount Service teams within Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge started their service runs as of 10pm on December 26, 2020. Sites within these regions were dealing with around 2 to 4cm of snowfall so the teams were tidying up properties as there was some drifting snow as well a salt service run. Sites within Guelph received a full salt service run and the teams started at 12am on December 27, 2020. They also received anywhere from 1 to 2cm of snowfall throughout so the salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise. All teams were completed by 7am on December 27, 2020.

Paramount Service teams within Toronto, Scarborough and Markham started their routes as of 12am on December 27, 2020. Sites within these areas received around 1 to 2 cm of snowfall throughout, the salt run was performed to help combat any slippery areas that may arise with the temperatures around -4. Sites were also tidied up where snow was drifting, all sites were completed by 7am on December 27, 2020.

Paramount Service teams within North Mississauga have received a salt service run as they received close to 1cm of snowfall throughout the evening of December 26, 2020. Georgetown and Brampton will also be receiving a salt service run as they have received around 1cm of snowfall also. Sites are being tidied up from any drifting of snow while teams are on sites. All sites were serviced within these regions by 7am on December 27, 2020.
