Salt Run Service February 29, 2020

Service teams in the Burlington, Oakville and Milton started their salt runs as of midnight on February 29, 2020.  All sites within Burlington, Oakville and Milton received anywhere from 1 to 2cm of snow accumulation during the evening hours of February 28, 2020.  We have an anticipated completion time of 6am on February 29, 2020 of all routes.  Please note, with the temperatures dropping overnight to -1o salt loses it’s effectiveness.  We did not hit the 5cm threshold within these service cities so residential properties will not be serviced.

Service teams in the Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby started their salt runs as of midnight on February 29, 2020.  All sites within Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Grimsby received anywhere from 3 to 4cm of snow accumulation during the evening hours of February 28, 2020.  Some properties within these service cities also received a plow due to the drifting snow that took place after yesterday’s service run.  We have an anticipated completion time of 6am on February 29, 2020 of all routes.  Please note, with the temperatures dropping overnight to -1o salt loses it’s effectiveness.
