VP of Operations – Waterdown, ON

Job Duties
- Oversee operations across maintenance and construction divisions, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with senior management to drive growth and operational excellence.
- Lead recruitment, promotions, and disciplinary actions, ensuring the training and development of staff across all levels.
- Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication, addressing issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze financial data and KPIs to optimize job costs and operational efficiency, making data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage risk mitigation across operations.- Lead the transition between seasonal operations, including workforce planning and equipment management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in senior operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the landscaping or construction industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic plans that align with business objectives.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in recruitment, staff development, and training.- Proficient in operational and financial management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and team dynamics effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage operations across multiple locations.

Salary: $100,000-$115,000
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available after six months of employment
